The word tattoo is said to has two major derivations- from the polynesian word ‘ta’ which means striking something and the tahitian word ‘tatau’ which means ‘to mark something’.

the history of tattoo began over 5000 years ago and is as diverse as the people who wear them.

tattoos are created by inserting colored materials beneath the skins surface. the first tattoos probably were created by accident. someone had a small wound, and rubbed it with a hand that was dirty with soot and ashes from the fire. once the wound had healed, they saw that a mark stayed permanently.

Appointments:

Our artists work by appointment and we also accept ‘walk-ins’. We encourage you to visit the studio to meet the artists in person to discuss your artwork. Our consultations are provided free of charge.
We have thousands of designs for you to chose from, or you are welcome to bring in your own idea. Don’t forget to bring in any reference or sketches you might have when you visit us

Deposits:

We do require deposits in order to set aside time for your artwork. The deposit fee does vary, but normally starts at $50 and is applied to your tattoo appointment.
We do not normally charge for custom drawings, but we do require a deposit to start on them. All deposits are applied to the price of your tattoo, and are non-refundable. Deposits and appointments shall be made in person (preferred) or over the phone. Sorry, no online scheduling of appointments is available at this time however you can contact the the studios and artists via e-mail.
