4 members of Pikes Peak Tattoo take the Plunge

What would you look like bald? You'd look like a hero for kids with cancer! Shaving your head is a great way to show your support for kids undergoing chemotherapy treatment while raising funds for life-saving research. Each year, 160,000 children are diagnosed with cancer worldwide. Our own Mr. Scary's son, Austin, is one of those kids. Cancer is the number one disease killer of children in the U.S. and Canada. The St. Baldrick's Foundation funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. To date, over 106,000 volunteers have shaved their heads in solidarity with kids fighting cancer at more than 2,400 emotional events in 50 states and 24 countries. Research saves lives.

Pikes Peak Tattoo is helping in this fight against cancer. This year three members of Pikes Peak Tattoo made it to the event raising almost $1200 for the cause. Mr. Scary wasn't able to make it to the event but did get his pledges and the boys at the shop buzzed him bald later, way to go Scary! Participants this year were Jeff, Sean, Scary and George. Although Jeff and Sean didn't have as much on top it still all went. Sean on the other hand had this to say... "NO, don't touch the beard!"
